MyAnimeList keeps a running count of how many people have added each show to their list, and a little over a hundred TV franchises have crossed one million. Those are the ones in this draw. Nobody picked them for taste. The rule is a number, checked in October 2026, which is why a quiet romance like Toradora! sits in the same pool as Naruto.

Franchises enter once. Attack on Titan has seasons all over the top of that list, and letting each of them in would turn whole rounds into Titans fighting Titans. So every series gets one card, and the count that qualified it is whichever of its TV entries was most popular. Movies were left out even when they cleared the bar, so Your Name and A Silent Voice are not here.

The spread runs from Dragon Ball Z in 1989 to Solo Leveling and Dan Da Dan in 2024, with the heaviest stretch in the 2010s, when streaming put simulcasts in front of an English-speaking audience the same week they aired in Japan. Some cards are thirty-year institutions and some are a single season that everyone watched at once. Both kinds are worth the same here.

Each card shows the series' key visual, credited to the studio that made it. If you have watched only half of these, that is normal, and the bracket still works: pick the one you would rather tell a friend to start.
