Every drafter has a format they still complain about. The one where a single rare decided the game on turn four, the one where one color was simply better than the rest, the one where removal was so cheap that nothing on the board survived. This bracket asks which MTG Arena draft format since Kaldheim was the most broken.

Each entry shows eight cards from its set: two rares or mythics, three uncommons and three commons. They come from 17Lands public data, ranked inside each rarity by blending win rate when the card was in hand with how early drafters actually took it. These are the cards people fought over and won with — the evidence for each format's case.

Kaldheim is the one exception: 17Lands' public data has no pick records for it, so its cards are ranked on win rate alone. Formats from 2020 and a few recent sets are missing because 17Lands has no public data for them.
