The Clash Royale Card You'd Never Take Out of Your Deck

Eight slots, a few seconds of elixir, and one tower to take. Every Clash Royale match comes down to which eight cards you walked in with, and most players have one they refuse to cut no matter how the meta shifts.

Supercell keeps adding to the pool. Champions with their own abilities, new spells like Void and Vines, and fresh faces such as Ronin and Minion Giant have joined the original troops, spells, and buildings that shipped with the game in 2016.

Every card here can go into a normal battle deck right now. Tower troops are left out because they guard your towers instead of taking a slot, and Evolutions and Heroes count as the card they upgrade. Event-only and retired cards like Heal and the Super cards are not included.

Forget win rates and tier lists for a minute. Pick the card you are happiest to see in your opening hand.
